A WREXHAM man has been sentenced after harassing and assaulting his ex-partner.
Nathan Griffiths, of Saxon Street, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Monday morning for sentence.
The 29-year-old had previously admitted harassing and assaulting Skye Downward.
Prosecutor Molly Rumsey told the court that the defendant and victim had ended their two year relationship around a month before the first assault, which happened on August 21 at Ms Downward's property.

Griffiths walked over to her and spat at her twice, then went into her kitchen and knocked pots off the worktop.
He told her: "You're nothing but a f****** dog," before spitting in her face, grabbing her phone and throwing it.
The second assault took place on September 17, at which point he was on bail conditions not to approach Ms Downward - with whom he has a child.
But after "hounding her" he attended her home again and grabbed her throat, screaming abuse at her.
He then threw her on the sofa, grabbed her by the hair and put his hand over her mouth, telling her: "I'll smash your head into the TV in a minute."
There then followed a course of harassment as - in breach of his bail conditions - he attended her home again on October 26, and tried to contact her in a variety of ways in the days which followed.
These included calling her on an unknown number, messaging and trying to add her on Facebook, sending his brother to speak to her, messaging her via an xBox account and emailing her.

Euros Jones, defending, told the court: "They are hopeful that they can deal with the child contact element as peacefully as possible.
"He accepts there's an issue there that he needs to address."
Mr Jones added there would be no opposition to the imposition of a restraining order.
The court handed down a 12 month community order, which will see Griffiths undertaking 40 days of rehabilitation activity, 200 hours of unpaid work and pay £250 in compensation.
He must also pay a £114 victim surcharge and £540 costs.
A two-year restraining order was put in place.
