POLICE officers have been out on patrol over the weekend in a Flintshire town hit by anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues.
During 2022 in particular, Holywell saw a number of ASB incidents take place.
Some instances included youths causing issues at the Tesco store on Strand Walk, as well as playing loud music and lighting a fire near a tree.
In April, North Wales Police stated that the town had 'seen a dramatic reduction' in incident numbers.
But, last August, the issues were ongoing and a group led by town councillor Daniel Thomas walked in a show of community strength at a beauty spot blighted by the issue.

This weekend, North Wales Police officers returned to the town to 'look for and deal with' any ASB issues at hand as the problem continues.
A statement from the North Wales Police North Flintshire team read: "PC 3457 Davies and the Flintshire North NPT are conducting late night patrols in the Holywell areas over this weekend to look for, and deal with, ASB issues.
"If you see us about come and have a chat."
If you have been experiencing any ASB-related issues, you should contact the police on 101.
