WREXHAM AFC have released a statement regarding plans for a pre-season tour of the United States.
The club confirmed on Friday night that previously publicised plans to tour the US during pre-season are at an advanced stage, but are not as yet finalised.
In December, Rob McElhenney seemingly confirmed rumours that the club will make a trip to the USA in 2023.
The announcement was made as 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' star Rob spoke to 'The Town with Matthew Belloni' podcast.

During the interview, Rob said: "One of my intentions is to make Wrexham ‘America’s team.’ I don’t know why we couldn’t do that."
He added: "Next year we’re going to do a tour around some of the MLS teams, so that’ll be fun."
Full details of the games the Reds will play in and where, will be released across the club’s communication channels when they are confirmed.
A Wrexham AFC spokesperson said: "We would advise fans against making any arrangements to travel to the games based on speculation, to avoid disappointment."
