Llangollen will be host to a Spring Jobs Fair allowing people to meet with employers face-to-face and discuss career and employment opportunities.

This follows the record-breaking Jobs Fair held in Rhyl in January, which saw over 250 attendees pass through the doors of the 1891 Restaurant & Bar at the Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl, which hosted over 50 locally and nationally recognised employers and organisations.

The fair will be held in Llangollen Town Hall on March 8 from 11am-3pm and will allow residents from the more southern regions of the county to come and discover the employment opportunities available from a range of businesses and industries.

The fair is organised by Denbighshire County Council’s Working Denbighshire Team, in partnership with Llangollen Town Council.

This Job Fair is a part of the Councils March For Business Month.

Councillor Jason McLellan, leader of the council and Lead Member for Economic Growth and Tackling Deprivation said: “Following on from the record-breaking jobs fair held back in January, we are hoping that this fair will be just as well attended.

"This fair offers a brilliant chance for the people of Denbighshire to meet with a whole host of established organisations and employers to get excellent career advice, and to discover the wide range of employment opportunities that are available.”
