PEOPLE have been left angered after damage was done to several cars on a residential street. 

The damage was caused at about 9pm on Sunday (February 18) on Breeze Hill in Connah's Quay. 

A man on a bicycle was seen removing the glass on several of the cars' wing mirrors and also scatching the vehicles. 

It comes as added costs to residents who are already feeling the pinch of the cost of living crisis.

Mandy Nicholls, whose car was one of those damaged, said: "I use the car for my disabled son and the mirror is going to cost about £40 to replace.

"I am going to have to borrow money off someone as all my money goes on bills, food and fuel for the car so I can take my son to hospital appointments.

"I am so angry that it was done to my car and others also. He just ripped mirrors off cars and put them in his bag."

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received two separate reports of criminal damage to two cars on Breeze Hill, Connah’s Quay at around 9pm on Saturday, February 18.

"Patrols have been increased in the area and anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101, or via the website, using reference 23000144443."
