THE INFAMOUS Wrexham AFC Deadpool sculpture looks set to have found its new permanent home.
Wrexham-based sculptor Simon O'Rourke created the masterpiece following Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's takeover of the Reds.
Reynolds stars as Deadpool in the Marvel franchise.
The sculpture was put up for auction last year, in an attempt to raise funds for Teams4U and Nightingale House Hospice.
It then went on a tour around Wrexham in an attempt to promote the area.
The Deadpool carving was eventually won in the auction by Steve Moore, who lives in Birmingham.

After struggling to initially get in contact with Steve, Simon said that if he couldn't collect it, it would be given to the Turf pub.
Steve was immediately on board with the idea, as he reminisced about the time he was working in Wrexham 35 years ago.
His boss at the time took him to the Turf for lunch where Steve said he had the 'best burger he's ever had'.
He added: "The sculpture belongs at the turf and I hope it will be enjoyed there for years to come."
The donation of the sculpture to the pub has been very well received by landlord Wayne Jones who believes it will be a 'huge hit'.
Wayne said: "Having seen the sculpture up close it’s a brilliant and wonderfully made piece of art.
"We will store it inside during the winter months and find a permanent location for it outside in the summer months.
"I also think it’ll be a huge hit with the tourists and kids."
Wayne also revealed that he thinks Ryan will be a big fan of the 'beautiful' sculpture.
He added: "I am sure Ryan would love it and be appreciative of the amount of time and effort that’s gone into making it.
"It’s beautiful and I am very grateful to have been donated it.
"We’ll cherish it."
