Support is growing for Wrexham AFC in Denmark according to one fan who has made the journey for tonight’s match against Scunthorpe (Tuesday, February 21).
Brian Lyck Jørgensen arrived in Wrexham yesterday (February 20) ready to see the game and spend some time in the city.
Brian, who has support Wrexham since 1989, has arrived with his brother in-law Bertram Benediktson and has been planning to trip for “some time” he said, but it had been affected by the pandemic.
Over the years he had been to many games and plans to come in a week where Wrexham play on both a Tuesday and a Saturday.
The football fan also went to Wembley in May 2022 to see Wrexham play in the FA Trophy final, and was hoping for promotion last season, but wants to see them secure the automatic promotion this season.

Brian and Bertram will be getting a tour of the Racecourse on Friday and have already stopped off at the Turf.
Brian has also been supporting other Danish fans getting interested in the club, and runs the Facebook page "Wrexham Danish Reds", which, after the release of the docuseries Welcome to Wrexham, has been gaining more followers,
Brian said: “There are thousands of Danes who want to visit Wrexham. I have therefore created a travel guide on the site.
“I am delighted to be back at Wrexham, the last match I saw live was back in May 2022 in the FA Trophy cup final at Wembley.
“And it's been seven years since I was in Wrexham last, it's great to come back to the many nice people.”
