Books of the Month
Our February 2023 books of the month are: Llyfr y Flwyddyn by Mari Emlyn, and Reputation by Lex Croucher.
Llyfr y Flwyddyn is a story that follows one man's envious feelings towards his successful wife. Raising questions of plagiarism and where we draw the line between being influenced by another person and taking something that they created, this is a fast paced and enchantingly written contemporary novel by a well-beloved Welsh author.
Reputation on the other hand is a historical novel set in Regency society, following the life of Georgiana Ellers as she strives towards her dreams. She steps into a new world when she meets Frances Campbell, finding herself lured in by the debaucherously devilish lifestyle led by Frances and her glamorous friends.
Have you read either of these titles yet? We would love to know what you think!

From everyone here at Aura Libraries, thank you for reading and we hope to hear from you or see you soon!
