A MAN who drunkenly shouted and swore for hours in the centre of Wrexham has been fined.
John Connors, of Hailes Park Close in Wolverhampton, appeared at Wrexham Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.
The 26-year-old admitted that on January 1 at Abbot Street in Wrexham, he was guilty while drink of disorderly behaviour.
Justin Espie, prosecuting, told the court that on the day of the offence, he was repeatedly asked by police to leave the city centre.

But over the course of three hours, he shouted and swore in the street and despite officers giving him "every opportunity" to leave, he continued.
Following limited mitigation, including the defendant being on universal credit, District Judge Gwyn Jones told the defendant that the "copious amount of alcohol" he'd consumed had prevented him from seeing things "clearly."
As such, he hadn't taken on board the police officers' advice, he added, handing down a £150 fine, a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
