TRAFFIC Wales has provided an update on the resurfacing works on the A483 in Wrexham.
Nine weeks of roadworks on the carriageway between J7 Rossett and the Wales/England border started earlier this month.
The works are to replace the road surface that has "reached the end of its serviceable life".
Days after the roadworks started, the A483 was closed in both directions due to a "traffic management issue", and there have been lengthy delays most mornings.
Sarah Atherton MP wrote in her column in the Leader last week that she had raised concerns with the Welsh Government about the situation.
