The Chirk Gardener’s Club is back after a winter break and ready for plant-passionate people to join them for their monthly talks.
The first meeting of 2023 begins a new programme for the club and will start with a talk by Jill Cawthry called Back to the Drawing Board.
It comes at a time of the year when people all start to think about how they can improve their gardens for the year ahead and Jill will be giving design tips to help you achieve this.

She will cover small things which can make a big difference such as tweaking planting in a border but also bigger design issues and more permanent features.
Jill is an experienced speaker and plant grower who sells at plant fairs throughout the country and she will be bringing plants for sale during the evening.
The talk will take place in the Parish Hall, Chirk, and begin on Monday, February 27 at 7.15pm.
Membership for the club is £12 per year which includes all the talks, refreshments, and a few perks too! If you prefer to just visit it's £3 per meeting.
Further information or details of the 2023 programme can be obtained by contacting the chair - Dawn Gough on dawngough60@gmail.com
The club is very welcoming and there's a lift to the room if needed.
