Jon Gower: Join us at Mold Library on Friday, February 24, at 7pm, in partnership with The Bookshop, Mold, for an evening with author John Gower. John will be talking about his new book The Turning Tide: A Biography of the Irish Sea. This new title is a fascinating account of a stretch of water with a turbulent history and an abundance of natural history. Tickets are £5 for event entry only or £20 to include a copy of the book. Iolo Williams: Join us at Holywell Library on Tuesday, March 21, at 7.30pm, where Cymdeithas Thomas Pennant will be welcoming Iolo Williams to the library for a lecture entitled Bywyd Gwyllt Cymru o'r Mynydd i'r Môr. Tickets are £7 (including refreshments) and can be purchased from Cymdeithas Thomas Pennant or Holywell Library. A very warm welcome!
