GYM members in Wrexham are 'gutted' and 'devastated' after Everlast announced it would be closing next week.
Everlast Gym, formerly DW, based at Plas Coch retail park told members this week that they would be closing the facility on February 19.
It comes during the same week that plans were announced for a new M&S food hall at the retail park.
Everlast emailed members saying: "We are writing to inform you that regrettably Everlast Gyms - Wrexham will close permanently at the end of the day on Sunday 19th February and will not be re-opening.
"We are saddened to deliver this news as we have made every effort to renegotiate and extend our stay, as we have a fantastic team of people, members and partners.

"However the decision to close the gym has been forced by a new tenant taking on the lease at Plas Coch.
"We are actively looking for properties in Wrexham and hope that this is just a goodbye for now."
The decision to close the gym has left members far from pleased, with one user on Facebook pointing out the unused sites at the retail park.
One Leader reader said: "Gutted to be losing our gym facilities. Surely there were empty buildings that they could [have] put to good use."
Another reader added they were "devastated that they have forced Everlast to move."
One reader commented: "It's shocking how all of the staff from Everlast gym and all of us gym members are losing this facility."
