FUN will take centre stage this half-term and beyond at theatres in Wrexham and Flintshire.
Mold's Theatr Clwyd and William Aston Hall in Wrexham, have got something for all the family to enjoy.
Award-winning illustrator and author Nick Sharratt's Shark In The Park (February 20-21) comes to Theatr Clwyd. Featuring all three of the 'Shark in the Park' series - Shark in the Park, Shark in the Dark and Shark in the Park on a Windy Day - this fin-tastic, family musical follows Timothy Pope (and his telescope) on three exciting adventures. Suitable for ages two to seven years.
Over at William Aston Hall, the fun continues with High Jinx Magic, Illusion and Circus Show (February 23). This fast-paced, fun family show is filled with amazing tricks, grand illusions and crazy circus thrills, performed by Michael Jordan and the fantastic High Jinx dancers.
Theatr Clwyd has been working with schools and colleges across North Wales for more than 10 years, with its interactive, performance-based workshop, Justice in a Day, looking at the consequences of criminal behaviour among young people.

This half-term, young people aged between 10-17 years will have the opportunity to take part in the workshop Community Justice in various locations across Flintshire in Aura sports venues. Together they will follow the story of a young man, who steadily becomes involved with the wrong crowd, and finds himself on the wrong side of the law. Family fun continues at Theatr Clwyd into March, with Jon Klassen's beloved book I Want My Hat Back (March 11-12) live on stage! Lockdown sensations Ian Nicholson and Sam Wilde showcase their trademark cardboard design across the UK on the first ever tour of I Want My Hat Back trilogy! A bear has lost his hat. What if he never sees it again? WAIT! He has seen his hat. Aimed at children ages three to six years and their families.
The Bubble Show (April 13) floats its way into Theatr Clwyd with a unique blend of magic, storytelling, and bubble art! Enjoy bouncy bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, smoke bubbles, square bubbles, giant bubbles, and even fire bubbles! Actor, storyteller, and Guinness World Record holder, The Highland Joker, is one of the top bubble artists in the world, bringing you an interactive, fun, international award-winning bubble extravaganza! Aimed at children ages three to 12 years and their families.
And finally, Julia Donaldson's much-loved book, The Singing Mermaid (April 15-16) comes to the stage. With three talented performers, beautiful puppets and music and songs, follow the singing mermaid's journey in joining a travelling circus. Aimed at children aged three to eight years.
