A FLINTSHIRE florist had made the shortlist for an award that showcases the best of Wales' wedding industry.
The Welsh Wedding Awards put the spotlight on top specialists and establishments that have gone above and beyond in the sector, and celebrate their achievements.
They aim to recognise and reward those within the wedding industry that work towards making the big day as perfect as possible, caterers, decorators and florists, that all know how to make any wedding flourish.
Vivaldi Flowers, based in Buckley, is a finalist in the Best Florist category, and will find out if they will be taking the trophy home at a ceremony later this month.
Owner of Vivaldi Flowers, Nikki Pearce, said: “We are so proud to be in the finals as this is an award voted for by our lovely clients.
"We won Best Wedding Florist in North Wales in the Welsh National Awards, and runner up for best Supplier in North Wales, so this would be a huge honour for us.
"We strive to make sure everyone always gets a little bit more than what they expect.”

Campaign manager for the Welsh Wedding Awards 2023 added: “These awards are now recognised as a leading celebration for showcasing those that have demonstrated excellence in the industry.
“The aim is to acknowledge everyone in this sector that has shown skill, commitment and have the customer satisfaction as top priority in their business.
“The competition is tough this year but it is time to acknowledge everyone who has shown dedication and professionalism in their workplace; two key features that make individuals and businesses stand out from the rest.
“With more entries than ever before, we would like to wish the finalists the best of luck and we can’t wait to welcome our guests at the ceremony and celebrate the winners with them.”
• The glamorous event, by Creative Oceanic, will take place on Wednesday, February 17, at The Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel & Spa.
