WREXHAM AFC has released further pictures of the Kop demolition process as the historic stand is pulled apart bit-by-bit.
Plans to re-develop that part of the Racecourse ground were given the green light by Wrexham Council's planning committee in November 2022.
That was in order to raise the capacity of the ground by a further 5,500 seats and it is also hoped that can help bring international football back to north Wales in the future.
Demolition has been underway at the ground since December 2022 and the Leader has been following the process ever since with fans getting in touch to share their memories.
Wrexham AFC has now provided an update on how the demolition is progressing.

A statement from the club read: "Material excavation and removal continues on the site of the Kop, as demolition work continues on the former stand.
"More than 40-50 loads per day are being taken through the gates on Crispin Lane, with the banking on which the former stand stood now flattened.
"A sloped batter around the iconic Racecourse floodlights has been shaped to allow stability."

Planning to replace the ground's existing floodlights was approved in October 2022.
The new floodlight scheme will be capable of delivering a consistent 1500 lux to meet UEFA’s category 4 stadium requirements but can be programmed to deliver a lux level of 350, the requirement of the National League, and any level between.
The columns are 40m in height with a forward cantilever of 20 degrees from 20m and are taller than the existing floodlight towers by 8m.

The Kop stand will hold so many memories for many a Wrexham fan throughout the years.
From beating Arsenal in the FA Cup to watching the Wales stars in action, there has been many a tale to tell.
But the new Kop will also no doubt bring exciting times ahead for the club as it moves forward under the guidance of chairmen Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
