She said: "Joan is an absolute treasure and we all adore her! Her energy and positive character makes every day a pleasure to work and care for people like Joan.
"Joan used to be a nurse in her youth and loves socialising and chatting, she’s a real queen.
"She is so happy and so lovely, she is just fantastic. She loves people so she is always chatting to everyone at the home, she is just brilliant.
"Joan is so good for her age, she doesn't have a walker or a hearing aid for example, she's magnificent and her turning 101 deserves a bit of recognition."
Happy belated birthday Joan!
