A Flintshire town has installed six dog waste bag dispensers in an effort to prevent dog fouling and promote a cleaner town centre.
Holywell Town Council has installed the poo bag dispensers in and around the town centre including two dispensers located on Holywell High Street, one near Llwyn Aled, one near the town council offices in Tesco Car Park, one at Fron Park and one near the Royal Oak.
The council hope the dispensers will help to promote a cleaner town centre and encourage residents to use poo bags.
The town council received funding from Flintshire Council as part of a town centre improvements grant.

They have used the grant to install CCTV cameras, additional street lighting and the latest addition of the poo bags.
Councillor Ted Palmer, of the Holywell Central ward said: "Dog fouling is a problem all over the county, everywhere you go.
"We hope this will promote a cleaner town centre."
The council has purchased additional stock to refill the dispensers, a role which will be completed by the three central ward councillors, Cllr Ted, Cllr Daniel Thomas and Cllr Pat Corbett.
Although there are currently no plans to install dispensers in other areas of Holywell, if further funding is available to the council they will look into other possible locations.
