MOLD Town Council has issued a warning following the circulation of an email scam.
The council has warned residents as the latest dubious email sees the impersonation of Cllr Chris Bithell.
An official statement on Mold Town Council's social media channels read: "Scam Warning - email pretending to be from Mold Councillor - there is another scam email in circulation.
"Any emails you receive from Mold Town Councillors that you are not expecting and within the email you are asked to contact them, please always check the email address is legit.

"All Town Council and Town Councillor emails are shown on our website.
"The latest scam email is pretending to be from Cllr. Chris Bithell, but the actual email address it comes from is executivecommittee8023@gmail.com this is not Cllr. Bithell's email address (correct email is christopher.bithell@flintshire.gov.uk)"
"If you receive an email that you are not sure is from Mold Town Council please feel free to contact events@moldtowncouncil.org.uk for clarification."
