Inspector Luke Hughes, of the Wrexham City team, said officers are dealing with a vehicle that has been abandoned in the area of Mold Road that has allegedly been involved in crime in the last 24 hours.
He said: "Thankfully not in our force (area) and clearly on arriving in our great metropolis they immediately lost their bottle and abandoned the vehicle. It will be preserved and subjected to forensic examination.
"The offences under investigation are thefts from parked vehicles and there is no wider risk to the public."
