Flintshire Council is encouraging young people to think about voting ahead of 'Welcome to Your Vote' week.
In Wales, 16 and 17-year-olds are now able to vote in the Senedd and local elections and are being encouraged to think about signing up during the event which runs from January 30 to February 5.
People all want to see positive change in Wales. But, for democracy to work for everyone, young people in Wales need to get involved.

You can register to vote on-line by visiting www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. You will need your National Insurance number, and it only takes a few minutes.
You should receive your National Insurance number a couple of months before you turn 16, so when you receive it, think about registering to vote straight away so you are ready when the next elections happen.
Assistance in locating your National Insurance number can be found at www.gov.uk/lost-national-insurance-number or by telephoning the National Insurance Number Helpline on 0300 200 3500.
