A popular butty van will be closed today (Thursday, January 26) after a break-in during the night.
The Turf butty van, which has seen recent fame thanks to the Welcome to Wrexham docuseries was confirmed to have been broken into by pub landlord Wayne Jones on Twitter this morning.
He had suggested some damage had been done, but that repairs are underway.

He tweeted: “Apologies that the Turf butty van is closed today.
“We have sadly had somebody with sticky fingers in the night.
“Rest assured everything will be repaired and we’ll be back 7am tomorrow.
“Apologies again :( “

Wayne received many comments on the incident, and he replied to one confirming that someone had broken into the gas case in the van and had cut all the pipes to remove the gas regulator. He said all the spare gas had also been stolen.
He added there would be stronger security measures for the van in the future.
The van will be back up and running again tomorrow from 7am.
