RESIDENTS in Connah's Quay have been advised to remain vigilant after reports of a door-to-door salesman attempting to sell "internet connections."
The warning came from PCSO Daniel Jones of the Flintshire North Police team on Wednesday.
He explained: "We have been made aware that a male has been attending properties in Connahs Quay in an attempt to sell 'internet connections' and '5G connections.'
"There is no evidence at this time to confirm/negate that this is a scam, however as a result we will be monitoring this situation to attempt to confirm the male's details/intentions.
"As such can I please ask that should any person call at your home in this manner that you contact North Wales Police to make us aware to carry out the necessary checks."
