A MOLD butchers scooped an award at a ceremony in Cardiff last night (January 24).
Daniel Morris Butchers, located on Mold High Street picked up the accolade of Countryside Alliance Champion Butcher for Wales 2023.
The Countryside Alliance Awards, otherwise known as the Rural Oscars, were set up 16 years ago to offer a voice and a platform to rural businesses and traders, acting as a celebration of the countryside.
As well as a Mold store, Daniel Morris Butchers also have shops in Llangollen and Denbigh.

Daniel Morris began his butchery career 15 years ago and has gone from strength to strength, and by 2019 he went on to take the lease of the shop he had worked in for all of those years.
Reflecting on their achievement, a spokesperson for the butchers said: "We are absolutely over the moon to have been awarded the Countryside Alliance Champion Butcher for Wales 2023.
"We would like to thank everyone who voted for us, to all our loyal customers and especially to our fantastic team at Daniel Morris Butchers."
