Insp Williams said: "Yesterday I talked about my desire to increase visibility and engagement within our communities. I am pleased to advise that yesterday was a productive and proactive day for our teams who were able to act upon some community feedback - thank you for the continued support.
"To provide feedback, several positive stop searches under the misuse of drugs act were conducted and drugs seized, a bike believed stolen was recovered."
In addition to the searches that took place yesterday, Insp Williams added that increased patrols will take place at Flint retail park in an attempt to reduce ASB.
He added: "You will start to see an increased police presence around the Flint retail park where we will be supporting the retailers and fast food chain to reduce anti-social behaviour. Our teams have obtained names for some of the individuals involved and we will be looking to speak to parents."
