PSCSO Lara Shiers of the Wrexham Rural team said: "Over the weekend, NWP received reports of youths throwing rocks/stones from Cefn Bank, and down towards Hill Street.
"Sadly, several large pieces of stone are believed to have been aimed towards a property, which has led to damage being caused.
"Stones of this size being thrown from such height can cause serious injury to a person or property, therefore I urge that any persons involved are to stop this behaviour in the community immediately.
"Should anyone have any information or CCTV footage that may help the investigation, please contact 101 or reply to this message, quoting reference A010529."
