A SANDYCROFT food group has made a generous donation to The Daniel Owen Centre in Mold.
The 2 Sisters Food Group provided a generous donation of chicken to the Daniel Owen lunch club as a thank you for allowing the use of their facilities for the company’s latest job fair.
Karen Hodgkinson, manager of the centre, said: "The Daniel Owen Centre had been told we were having a donation from 2 Sisters Food Group, we had no idea of the size.
"This was a major shock when they came with trays full of fresh chicken, which will be used for the Luncheon Club, which takes place every Friday afternoon, 12.30-3pm.

"This kind donation means we can make many different dishes and ensure attendees receive an even better quality meal.
"We would like the thank 2 Sisters as any donations to our charity is always a great help and helps us to keep costs as low as possible."
The Daniel Owen Luncheon Club is held every Friday 12.30pm-3pm and consists of a two course meal, which also includes a tea or coffee for £4.50 per person.
Karen added: "We set this up in the hope of ensuring people get a full hot meal and hot drink at a low affordable cost.
"This is open to all ages and in the holidays, kids eat for just £2."
2 Sisters Sandycroft is on a recruitment drive as it has created an additional 25 new positions as a result of securing new business from March 2023.
