North East Wales Search and Rescue have thanked the public after hitting their donation target of £79,000 to put towards a new vehicle.
The team has put the donations towards a new vehicle which has been fitted out with all the necessary electronics, radios, workspaces and everything else to make it functional for the teams needs.

NEWSAR is a volunteer Search and Rescue (Mountain Rescue) Organisation. Its primary operating area is in North East Wales mainly covering the counties of Flintshire, Denbighshire, Wrexham and parts of Conwy and Powys.
The team also regularly assists Mountain Rescue teams elsewhere in North Wales as well as Lowland Search and Rescue teams in Cheshire and Shropshire.
The team was originally formed in 1981 under the name Clwyd Rescue Team, changing to North East Wales Search And Rescue in 1994.
A spokesperson at North East Wales Search and Rescue said: "Thank you everyone for your support and generous donations. We hit our target of £79,000, all from public donations."
