YOU may think panto season is over but oh no it isn't!
And one Flintshire community group's popular annual show promises to offer the perfect half-term outing.
The Gwernymynydd Panto Group, made of up villagers and residents from the surrounding communities, are putting on Aladdin next month during the school holiday.
Running for its 11th year, following a two-year covid break, director Cameron Williams, from Bagillt, who returns for his seventh show, says its their funniest yet.
The cast of all ages has been in rehearsal since September, putting together the classic tale, re-written by Cameron.
TV producer Cameron said: "This year has been the greatest challenge yet for the pantomime group. Due covid-19, a two-year break means we are essentially starting from scratch but we are determined to make this year's pantomime the best one yet.

"We have a lot of new faces on the stage this year, which has been a refreshing and welcoming change, and has brought a completely different dynamic to the show.
"I am constantly amazed by the level of talent that is in the area and the dedication of the cast and crew. I am sure the audiences will be blown away when they see the show on stage.
"I'm a great believer in supporting and nurturing local talent, there's more in the area than people realise. This is homegrown and authentic."
Chair of the pantomime committee Karen Jones added: "It's shaping up to be another great pantomime and I can't wait for the show to go on stage and for our audiences to be amazed."
• Aladdin runs at the Gwernymynydd Village Centre from February 22-25, with five performances. Tickets are on sale now, at £7, available from Karen Jones on 01352 752514.
