MCDONALD'S has responded after its application for a new drive-thru in Wrexham was rejected.
Plans were initially put forward in 2021 and later rejected by Wrexham Council over concerns of traffic.
The proposed drive-thru was set to be located at the Plas Coch Retail Park.
After the initial application was turned down, McDonald's appealed the decision.

This led to Iwan Lloyd, an Inspector, being appointed by the Welsh Ministers to oversee the appeal.
Mr Lloyd published his findings of the appeal, in which he rejected the application over concerns for phosphate levels.
Despite the plans being turned down, McDonald's says it is committed to opening new sites in Wrexham.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “We are disappointed with the decision to reject our planning application.
"We are committed to opening new sites in Wrexham and are currently reviewing our options.”
