THE Met Office has extended the weather warning for snow and ice across north Wales.
Originally the yellow warning was due to come to an end at 12pm today (January 17), however, it has now been extended until tomorrow.
Heavy snow and ice are likely to continue until 12pm on Wednesday (January 18).
The warning covers all of Flintshire and Wrexham, as well as most parts of north Wales.

Schools and roads have been significantly disrupted this morning, with eight schools closing in Flintshire and police reporting several road traffic collisions.
The Met Office has continued to warn people what to expect:
- Some roads and railways affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
