A MET OFFICE yellow warning for snow and ice is in place in Flintshire and Wrexham.
It is in place from midday today (Monday, January 16) until 12 noon on Tuesday, and covers all of Flintshire and most of Wrexham.
What the Met Office warns to expect:
- Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
- Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
- Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
Light snow showers are forecast on Tuesday afternoon, which could turn heavy later in the evening.
