Attention will no doubt have turned to making this year's carnival a resounding success now, with the official Mold Carnival Facebook page offering the first initial update of the year as to when residents can expect an official date.
A social media post read: "Details of this year's carnival date will be announced at the end of the month."
Alongside this announcement, was a graphic reading "New dates coming soon - stay tuned."
Residents can expect the date to be revealed towards the end of January, giving the community something to look forward to.
