AN EIGHT-VEHICLE crash wreaked traffic chaos on the A483 in Wrexham on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred northbound between the Rossett and Gresford junctions at around 7.50am.
It involved eight vehicles, and saw the police, fire service and traffic officers attend.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said only minor injuries resulted from the collision.

They said: "We received a call at 7.50am this morning reporting an eight vehicle road traffic collision on the northbound carriageway of the A483, just after the Gresford turnoff.
"Officers for the force’s Roads Policing Unit attended alongside colleagues from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) and Traffic Wales. The road was blocked for some time."
All traffic was held for around half an hour as emergency services dealt with the crash, before lane two was reopened. Lane one was closed for around an hour as debris was cleared from the road and the vehicles involved were recovered.
There was heavy traffic, stretching as far back as the Sainsbury's roundabout junction, for over an hour.
A NWFRS spokesperson said firefighters attended to make the vehicles involved in the collision electronically safe.
