THE Daniel Owen Centre will be acting as a warm hub for residents.
The Centre in Mold will be supporting the community by running the hub on Friday mornings, providing free soup, hot rolls, and tea or coffee thanks to funding from Flintshire County Council.
Daniel Owen Centre manager, Karen Hodgkinson said: "Our first session had 32 in one sitting. This shows that there is a need.
"The Warm Hub will run until the end of March in the hope that things improve as a whole.
"We will be keeping an eye on the next few months to see if this is something that needs to continue for a little bit longer or not.
