FLOOD alerts are in place along the River Dee today (January 10).
Natural Resources Wales has issued three flood alerts for the River Dee at Bangor-on-Dee, Lower Dee Catchment and parts of the Lower Dee Valley.
Heavy rain is forecast throughout the day, with areas across Wrexham subject to the flood alert.
Flood alerts are also covering the areas of Trevalyn and Rossett in north Wrexham, and Higher Kinnerton in Flintshire.
A Natural Resources Wales spokesperson said: "River levels are expected to be above normal. Flooding of Low-lying land and roads is expected.
"We will continue to monitor the situation. You can monitor the situation in your area by using our 'River Levels, Rainfall and Sea Data' on our website.
