MOTORISTS have been advised of roadworks taking place in Llangollen over the next few weeks.
Traffic Wales reminded the public about the works on Monday morning.
From January 9 to February 17, a three-way light management system will be in place on the A5 between Chapel Street and Castle Street, between the hours of 10am and 6pm.
This is to enable junction and crossing improvements, Traffic Wales stated - and will see Hill Street junctions closed at all times.
A spokesman explained: "The existing traffic signals at the junction of the A5 and Castle Street in Llangollen are considered to be life expired and in need of renewal.

"The upgrading of traffic signals and realignment of Hill Street junction will allow the layout of the signals to be improved, hopefully reduce the maintenance liability and also allow controlled pedestrian crossing points to be incorporated into the signal arrangement.
"In order to safely carry out the realignment of the Hill Street junction, temporary restrictions on the flow of traffic out of Chapel Street and out of Hill Street will be in place in the form of ‘one way’ systems.
"Traffic from Hill Street wishing to join the A5 will be diverted along Hall Street to re-join the A5 opposite the junction with Market Street."
