A POLICE inspector has slammed "pointless" damage caused by youths throwing stones in Wrexham.
Inspector Luke Hughes, of the Wrexham City policing team, said he received four reports of youths throwing stones at properties on Wednesday.
One incident occurred on Minafon, and then another on Tower View a short time later - with windows of properties damaged at both locations.

And just after 5.30pm, officers received further reports of stones being thrown at properties on Tan y Coed and Newport Close.
Inspector Hughes said: "This has to be the same group - pointless damage and causes misery to the local community.
"Parents, I know cabin fever has kicked in but please ensure you know where your offspring are, and that they are behaving. The vast majority do, but sadly on occasions we have issues such as this."
