Cariad Pet Therapy is looking for engaging dogs and their owners to make a difference in the Wrexham area.
The Welsh therapy dog organisation is holding a weekend of therapy dog assessments in Wrexham on February 3 and 4 at Pentre Gwyn Community Centre, on Abenbury Road.
The therapy dogs will visit hospital wards, care homes and schools as well as well-being visits.
Therapy dog visits provide a connection, a feeling of calmness, joy, comfort, and companionship, which has a positive impact on well-being.

These impacts can have a long-lasting effect on those involved.
A spokesperson from Cariad Pet Therapy said: "If your dog has a good temperament and enjoys meeting new people with good etiquette, Cariad Pet Therapy would love to hear from you.
"You also would need to have the time to volunteer and have a good bond with your dog."
