PLANS to turn an empty building in Wrexham into an eatery have been given the green light.
An application to change the use of 40-42 Regent Street, which was last occupied by BrightHouse, into a food and drink outlet has been approved by Wrexham Council's planning officers.
Sparta Foods Ltd, the company behind the scheme, owns German Doner Kebab and Chopstix chains.

Planning documents state that the eatery will be open seven days a week between 8am and 2am, but will operate as takeaway only in the evenings.
The eatery will be accessed by customers via Regent Street, and a second entrance from Duke Street will be in place for deliveries.
The ground floor will feature a counter and server area, along with a large customer seating area.
Toilet facilities, a prep and wash area, fridge and freezers and a dry store will also be created – along with a manager's office.
