WREXHAM fans believe the Racecourse's new Kop should feature some sort of tribute to one of its greatest characters.
If you have spent time standing on the Racecourse Kop down the years, then you're sure to remember one very familiar face and voice in particular.
Ian ‘Jacko’ Roberts was the main singer in the Kop for many years and later the Glyndwr University Stand.
It has now been five years since he sadly died aged 55 after a long battle with cancer.
Earlier this week, we wrote an article remembering the 'King of the Kop' as he was known.
That led to many of our readers sharing their memories of Jacko and also many suggesting that a tribute should be put in place to him once the new Kop is complete.

The re-development of the old Kop is now underway at the Racecourse, having been given the green light by Wrexham Council's Planning Committee in early November.
Once complete, it will take the official capacity of the Reds' home ground from 10,000 to 15,500.
It is also hoped that that could pave the way for international football matches to return to North Wales.
It is said that the new Kop could be ready as early as the 2024/25 campaign - and many are hoping that Jacko will be remembered for the passion he showed on the original Kop.
Underneath our last post on Jacko, Julian Wright wrote: "Would be nice to have a memorial to Jacko in the new stand."
Terry Roberts agreed saying: "Should name the new stand in his memory… 'Everywhere we go' stand!"
Carl Langer said: "Should name the stand after Jacko, best bloke ever to grace the Racecourse."
Peter Brookman added: "Can we have his name on the back of a seat in the new stand?"
Bob Weaver said: "Maybe they can put up a plaque in the new stand in remembrance of him?"
Others suggested setting up a fundraiser to make that possible, while others once again paid tribute to the die-hard Wrexham fan.

Steve Thomas said: "Some of the best times of my life were spent in the great man's company. Be it next to each other home and away, in the Fron Choir or just out socially. Miss the great man every day."
Sali Jones added: "I remember being a kid and going to watch Wrexham as a season ticket holder in the Kop, and ALWAYS hearing him start the singing. True choir master.
"Even when there was bugger all people there! Random Tuesday winter nights 21/22 years ago with 700-800 people watching. Very sad he’s not here to see the success of the club now."
Nige Griffiths wrote: "A true Wrexham legend. Lots of memories of Jacko when I was a season ticket holder in the Kop.
"Some games he truly was our 12th Man getting the crowd going and helping us secure a win. RIP Jacko. Gutted he's not here now to see all the investment and New Kop getting built."
