TWO Flintshire businesses have been shortlisted for a 'Best Kebab House in Wales' prize.
The British Kebab Awards, in association with JUST EAT, recognises and champions the efforts of local kebab takeaways and restaurants across the UK.
Fans of their friendly neighbourhood kebab takeaways and restaurants can claim they truly do have Britain’s best kebab takeaway and restaurant by voting for them in the British Kebab Awards.
2023 will see the awards take place for an 11th time - and two Flintshire establishments have made it onto the final shortlist for 'Best Kebab House in Wales'.

The Yiannos Fish Bar in Mynydd Isa and Mold Kebab, Burger and Pizza House will square off for the prize, with the winner set to be announced on February 28, 2023.
Yiannos' will be looking to re-claim the prize having won it in March of this year.
Delyn MP Rob Roberts, who nominated both for the prize, said: "Congratulations to Yiannos Fish Bar Mynydd Isa and Mold Kebab House for being shortlisted for the British Kebab Awards.
"I can proudly say that I have frequented both establishments in the past fortnight, and either would be a worthy winner! Good luck to both."
The two Flintshire businesses will come up against the following in the 'Best Kebab House in Wales' category:
- Golden BBQ, Cardiff
- Pizza Choice, Cardiff
- Lezzet Turkish Kitchen, Cardiff
- Waleskebab, Abertridwr
- Jasmin Restaurant, Cardiff
- Sam's Grill House, Caerphilly
- Silver Lounge, Penygraig
- Choices Express, Pontypridd
