A FAMILY with two young children had their front door "booted in" amid concerns over overnight anti-social behaviour in an area of Wrexham.
People in the Bradley area have recently taken to social media to complain of issues involving youths reportedly throwing objects at properties, and knocking on doors in the middle of the night.
On Wednesday night, Dave Jones and his young family had damage done to their front door. CCTV footage shows a group of youths running away from the Delamere Avenue property after the incident.
Mr Jones, who has two young children, said: "I get it when kids are being kids playing knock and run, hedge hoping, throwing tissue bombs and the like. But when it comes to actually damaging property, which comes at a cost, that is crossing the line.
"They need to realise residents on this road are elderly and people who have young children. Having our front door booted in is unacceptable."
Local county councillor, Tina Mannering, said a youth club is opening in the new year in an attempt to help deal with the issues.
She said: "I have been working with the local PCSOs before Christmas regarding anti-social behaviour.
"We are opening a new youth club in January to try and engage more with the youths. We all want residents to feel safe especially in their own homes. It's not acceptable behaviour."

The youth club will be held at the Activ-8 Community Gym in Bradley on Monday evenings.
Acting inspector of the Wrexham Rural policing team, Geraint Richards, said: “I was made aware of a report of criminal damage to a property on Delamere Avenue in Bradley, which is reported to have happened on December 28.
“An officer spoke to the victim who declined police attendance.
“I am not aware of ongoing anti-social behaviour in the Bradley area, but would encourage members of the public to report any incidents as soon as possible to enable us to better understand any emerging issues, and to address them appropriately.
“Further directed police patrols will be conducted within the area.”
