Xplore Science Centre in Wrexham has announced it will be hosting a warm hub drop in session on Mondays.

Xplore is located on Henblas street in Wrexham and is the premier Science Discovery Centre in North Wales.

As part of Wrexham’s Warm Places Xplore announced it would be hosting a Warm Welcome Mondays every week from January 9.

The event, which is based in the Walkway and Café at Xplore, will take place from 9.30am to 2.30pm on Mondays with no requirements to book.

Those attending will be provided with a warm space, games, charging points, science activities, friendly conversation and free hot drinks and biscuits.

The hub is suitable for all ages and visitors are welcome to make use of the free Wi-Fi.

The café sells various snacks and drinks however guests are welcome to bring their own food to consume on site, however there are no kitchen facilities.

This hub is funded as part of the Warm Spaces grant in which Wrexham council is seeking community groups or organisations that are able to provide warm spaces in the community.

Warm Places Wrexham was formed as part of efforts to support residents through the cost of living crisis.

Several libraries across Wrexham are currently taking part including; Brynteg Library, Cefn Mawr Library, Chirk Library, Coedpoeth Library, Gwersyllt Library, Llay Library, Overton Library, Rhos Library, Ruabon Library, Wrexham Library.
