FROM the famous win over Arsenal to enjoying Wales matches there, Leader readers have been sending in their best memories from the Racecourse Kop.
Demolition of the iconic Kop stand is looming as its re-development is now underway.
Wrexham Council’s planning committee gave the project the green light in early November.
The re-development will raise the capacity of the stadium from 10,000 to 15,500.
Before the club was purchased by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in 2021, fans had long dreamed of a new stand to replace the current Kop which has been derelict for almost 15 years.
And now those dreams look set to become a reality with the new Kop anticipated to be open as early as the 2024/25 season.

As well as being a fantastic facility for Wrexham AFC, it is also hoped that the stand can be used for the return of Wales' football team playing its matches in North Wales once it is complete.
With that in mind, we asked our readers what their favorite memories from standing on the Kop have been down the years.
Here's what they had to say ...
Peter Williams said: "Good memories was the top of the kop singing and moving behind the goal for the 2nd half.
"Bad memories was when Wales played at the Racecourse and Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Wrexham mixed in a very small space very scary for a young lad."
John Williams told us: "Wearing my Tottenham top on the Kop when we beat Arsenal."
Christine Taylor said: "Being hit in the face by a wayward Graham Whittle pile driver. Painful memories!"
