WREXHAM foodbank has revealed they have received 11.5 tonnes of food in the last three weeks alone.
In a post on social media the initiative announced just how much had been donated recently in the run up to Christmas.
The donations were made up of food, toiletries and also pet food.
The foodbank was quick to heap praise on the people of Wrexham for their selfless generosity in what is undoubtedly a tough time for many.
In a social media post, the foodbank said: "In the last three weeks we have received almost 11.5 tonnes of donations (food, toiletries, and pet food).
"That's amazing! Thank you people of Wrexham!"

A spokesperson for Wrexham Foodbank told The Leader: "We are very grateful to all of the kind and generous individuals, churches, schools and businesses that have donated to us, both food and finance, throughout the year.
"These donations enable us to continue to provide emergency food, toiletries, pet food and further support to local people in crisis.
"Our vision is for a Wrexham where everyone has enough money to afford the essentials in life and where Wrexham Foodbank is no longer needed.
"Until that day comes we are committed to providing support and campaigning for change."
