WREXHAM star Paul Mullin has made one family's Christmas one to remember with a brilliant Twitter reply.
Emma Touhey, from Johnstown, sent out a Tweet on Thursday, December 22, mentioning her Christmas dilemma.
Her boys, 10-year-old Jack and seven-year-old Ben, have put a pair of 'Mulls' boots' down on their Christmas list for Santa this year.
Realising that getting a pair of Mullin's actual boots would be quite the task, Emma took to Twitter on a quest to get some sort of reply from the star striker to 'soften the blow'.
And, just like time and time again in front of goal, he delivered the goods.

Emma Tweeted: "Absolute long shot but here goes @PMullin7 both my sons Jack and Ben put "Mulls' boots" on their Xmas list to Santa.
"Any chance of a little message to soften the blow (for them and me!) would make their Christmas, prob forever!!"
Mullin then later replied: "Unfortunately Santa did come to try to collect some but I had to say no sadly as they have brought some luck to me up to now. Hope you have a great Christmas."

Emma then replied to Mullin saying: "Legend thank you so much! They will be over the moon! Let's hope those boots bring us promotion!"
Talking to the Leader, Emma said she had not yet shown Mullin's message to Jack and Ben, but was instead keeping it for Christmas Day to 'make their day'.

Emma, who has been a season ticket holder at the Racecourse for 30 years, added: "Mullin was the only player last season the boys missed when we went to a match early to get pics and autographs.
"All the players were awesome and an absolute credit to the club and community and took time out for photos and autographs so this message from Mullin will make up for them missing him that time.
"I have planted the seed that I don’t think Santa would be able to get Mullin’s actual boots so Jack has asked for a pair that he’s spotted similar and Ben then decided he wanted a scooter instead."
