MEMBERS of a Flintshire golf club have recently donated over £6,800 to two very worthwhile causes.
Over many years, members of Mold Golf Club, based in Pantymwyn, have helped to raise thousands of pounds for both local and national charities.
And 2022 has been no different as they have managed to collect and donate a total of £6,890.66 shared between two organisations.
The first cheque of £3,386 was this week donated to the North East Wales Search and Rescue (NEWSAR) team.
The second sum of £3,445.33 was presented to the Neuropathy Centre in Saltney.

A statement from Mold Golf Club added: "Events that were held to raise funds for NEWSAR over the past year included a charity auction, hamper raffles, charity bunkers, a charity AM golfing event, quiz nights and a shopping evening.
"In addition to the donation by 2022 Captain Garry Davies to North East Wales Search and Rescue NEWSAR, our Past Lady Captain Suzanne Cheatle also donated £3,445.33 to the Neurotherapy Centre in Saltney - a total raised in the year of £6,890.66.
"This is a brilliant achievement and thanks go to members and everyone else who supported this fundraising. Both charities are delighted."
