THE Wrexham Litter Pickers have collected more than 500 bags of rubbish during 2022.
The group is made up of volunteer litter pickers, working hard to keep streets, green spaces and rivers in Wrexham free from pollution.
Since the group was formed in February 2021, it has collected over 14,052 bags of litter.
And 2022 was another very busy year for the group it seems.

The Wrexham Litter Pickers team took to Twitter earlier this month to give an overview of what they had collected during the year.
That was following their last litter pick of the year around the Bellevue and Victoria areas.
A statement from them read: "Last group pick of 2022. Nine of us went around Bellevue and Victoria.
"Collected 37 bags. A fridge freezer, exhaust pipe, car seat, shopping trolley and a motorbike helmet.
"In total, 532 bags from this year's 28 group picks. Next year, we will do it all over again."
