Flintshire High Streets have seen a growth in beauty services and tattoo and piercing shops according to data by the Ordnance Survey.
The data, which can be found on the BBC website, shows how local high streets have changed in a two year period.
Using a Mold town centre postcode, it covers nearby streets including Earl Road, High Street, Daniel Owen Precinct Pedestrianised Area, Chester Street, New Street, Wrexham Street, Mold Road, Brunswick Road, High Street, and A55 Wb Ewloe To Pinfold Lane.
The data from these streets show that in March 2020, there were 72 eating and drinking businesses and two more in March 2022, meaning that there was an increase of 3%. During this period, there was a 4% increase in eating and drinking businesses across Great Britain.
In March 2020, there had been 129 retail shops in these areas, which increased by one in March 2022. The increase in Great Britain was 3%.

Beauty services saw a 32% increase on these streets, with pubs and bars also increasing by 25%. These areas saw a 14% increase in cafes and a 16% increase to fast food however restaurants decreased by 11% and there was no change to clothes shops.
Across the whole of Flintshire 4.3% of banks closed, lower than the Wales and Great Britain statistic of 8.1%.
A total of 11.9% more beauty services opened across the whole of Flintshire, higher than the 4.1% increase in Wales and the 5.9% increase in Great Britain.
There were 3.2% more fish and chip shops that opened in Flintshire during this time, just higher than the 2.9% in Wales and 2.6% in Great Britain.
Public toilets in Flintshire decreased in number by 8.3% in the two year window, compared to the 3.6% decrease in Wales and 2.3% decrease in Great Britain.
There was no change in supermarket chains in Flintshire though in Wales they did increase by 2.8% and 2.5% in Great Britain.
Many more tattoo and piercing studios opened in Flintshire during this time (23.1%), compared to the increase in Wales at 9%, and 8.2% in Great Britain.
